Kellerbiers, or “Cellar Beers” are unfiltered, unpasteurised, yeasty, malty lagers from Franconia in central Bavaria.
ABOUT THE BREWERY:
Situated in Amberg, Franken (Franconia), Bayern (Bavaria) – east Nuremberg, Bruckmüller Brewery has been producing beers in the same place for over 500 years.
Began as the “Prewhaus der Parfusser” in 1490 – the Franciscans – continued by the Bruckmüller family in 1803. The brewery has been run by the same family for seven generations.
