IMPERIAL NEW ENGLAND IPA

Imperial New England IPA, or Double NEIPA, is the boisterous, bigger sibling in the IPA family, taking the hazy, hoppy goodness of a New England IPA and dialing it up to eleven. This style is for those who think more is more, offering a turbocharged sensory experience with higher alcohol content and even juicier hop flavors.

Flavour-wise, the Imperial NEIPA is a powerhouse of taste. It’s packed with explosive notes of tropical fruits like mango, pineapple, and peach, alongside hints of citrus zest and a touch of pine. The hops are front and center, but thanks to the style’s characteristic low bitterness and the addition of oats or wheat, the beer maintains a smooth, almost sweet profile that balances the hop intensity.

Visually, these ales are a feast for the eyes with their thick, opaque body that can range from a bright golden to a deep orange hue, almost like a sunset in your glass. The haze is as heavy as the flavours, creating a visual impact that promises a full-on flavour ride.

And the feel? Imperial New England IPAs are rich and creamy, bordering on velvety. The body is full, and the carbonation is just enough to add a prickle to the tongue without overshadowing the smoothness. It’s a beer that’s as satisfying to sip as it is impressive to look at, perfect for slow enjoyment and savouring the craft that goes into every brew.

Here’s to the Imperial New England IPA, the bold, the beautiful, the brashly hoppy giant that’s not just a beer but a statement. Cheers to the extravagant, the lush, and the unapologetically over-the-top!
